The goal of our Summer Shakespeare Project is to annually produce a work of Shakespeare to be presented in neighborhood parks through collaboration with local parks departments and other area not-for-profits that use the park as a venue.
We strive to create relevant public theatre in public places as part of our mission to produce works that deal with the here and now of the creators, as well as the communities in which the work is presented. All of our Shakespeare productions, remain faithful to the text and spirit of the play, while incorporating a contemporary flare- updating the dress and manner of the characters- to create a bridge of relevance that serves contemporary audiences.
A zany production of "Comedy of Errors" featuring
a troupe of traveling clowns putting on this farcical
tale of mistaken identities and long lost brothers.
